I have a strawberry (purple) psuedochromis that I have had for a few months now. Just this night I saw that something has nipped a chunk out of his side. What is the best treatment to heal this injury. I believe the aggressor may be my coral banded shrimp. What is the best way to make sure the shrimp is full (and best food) as to stop it from becoming aggressive. I have had both for a while now and no problems till no. Ran out of the mysid so been feeding just pellets.

If it indeed was the shrimp then shrimp will be shrimp. but as far as the wound you`ll need to doo weekly PWC`s to maintain pristine conditions so it will heal good. If not then secondary bacterial infection could happen.
