Injury, or disease, or both?

This is my Gold Barb. His or her irregularity is on its left throat/chin area. He is the only one of 11 with a bump like that, and although I couldn't get a good picture of the left side, it is pretty red.

Another one has a red mark (no bump) on its head above its nose.

How should I be addressing this, other than clean water?

Hmm I don't know. My friends betta fish has a bump like that and he is fine, Maybe its just a genetic problem. Is he breathing okay?

is it possible it could be colmnaris?
If you scroll down to the bottom of that page there is something called Enteric Red Mouth or something like that. Only other thing close that I can find

Also, it could just be an infection. Like if he got in a fight and it is infected. Might want to see what kind of meds you need and start treating.

That is a good pic! It looks like it is red all around his gill?
