Thats what matters most....if its a rare breed or something perhaps.

Seems a little high for what I see at the store every trip....or at least not a money saver.

i get mine from one of my neighbors....for free

last week, i got one with bright red dorsal and caudal fins, black pectoral fins, and a silver body. I am hoping his tail will devlop some crazy patterns like his parents (he is a fancy.)

2 female + 1 male = LOTS of babies so be prepared.

I paid $1.49 each for my male green snakeskins and for my male mosaics. Females are usually a bit less. BUT like everyone said, it depends upon the variety and the size of the tail.

Well bred guppies from private breeders can go for $45 a trio (some even MORE !)

So it really does depend upon the type.

They're 'Japanese Multi Grass' a close cousin is selling them in a hurry.....maybe i'll get them free...
