Is this Guppy Pregnant?

First of all, I apologize if I posted this more than once. I was having an issue with uploading the picture.

I'm wondering if this Guppy is pregnant? I recently had a guppy give birth in the tank, there are about 4 fry living in with the adults, because I couldn't get them out. I don't want that to happen again (if I can help it).

Also, if she is pregnant, how far along?

The answer is YES she is very pregnant!

Once she starts to get a Box-like look to her stomach when you look at her from the front and side, she'll give birth within the day or day after.

If you plan on saving the fry, make sure your tank is heavily planted so that they can hide. Other fish, including the mother will most likely eat your fry!

Agreed with KimmiA! You'll be having baby guppies soon enough. I'm not very good at telling how far along they are by just looking, but I can say it won't be too far off. Congrats!!
