I bought a male Jack Dempsey today and put him in my tank with my female Jack Dempsey. The female was fine at first, flashing her colors and staying next to him, flapping her tail. Then about ten minutes into it she started biting him and chasing him. So I took him out and put him in my other tank. Does that mean they won't be able to be comparable in a tank?? Anyone have experience in pairing Jacks?
