king betta or short fin betta???

i know that you shouldnt put tiger barbs with bettas due that they will nip his fins and get him stressed but what about getting a king male (short fin betta) will that still be a no no???? tank its a 75 gal and current stocking list

8 juv tiger barbs
4 juv black skirt tetra
6 platy
1 rainbow shark (soon to be gone or transfered to a new 29 gal that ill be getting next week and its all cycled and running)
1 pictus catfish (soon to be gone)
1 pleco and
2 3 spot gourami (getting transfered to a 29 gallon)

oh ok thanks thats what i was thinking i saw a beautiful white and black (like a panda) king male betta i was gonna buy it but i rather get info instead of stressing him out

Sorry, but why are you moving a rainbow shark out of a 75 gallon tank into a 29?

Sorry, I guess I am confused. So, you are keeping the shark in the 75? And you want to get rid of the pleco and pictus?

yes sorry i typed it wrong, yeah i want top keep the shark in the 75 galn get rid of the pleco and pictus catfish the plecus uproots my plants every other day and he pisses me off so i just need to find some1 that will take him, the pictus he used to be very active untill i added plants and now he is active still but he would avoid the plants and chase my gourami
