Lampeye killifish

Does anybody have any experience with these guys? I'm thinking if keeping some in a heavily planted 10 or 20 long. I haven't been able to find much info on them so I don't know exactly what they prefer ei. Softer more tinted water or harder water etc. etc. I was also wondering how try would fair with a betta. I kno each betta is different but ingeneral. I'm hoping for a pop of red as a center piece fish. Any suggestions tips or advice?

They are some what hardy. The 20 long is the minimum tank size.

Really? For those tiny things? Is it that theyre super active or something? Also is it true they try to jump out when they're scared?

They are top dwellers so yes they would be more prone to jumping.

And do you have any input on how they would do with a betta? For example though all bettas are different cories are much more likely o be accepted by the betta than a fancy guppy. Where would the killis fall?

Killis usually get along with bettas. It's your call if you want to risk it.
