When I feed my fish and open the lid some kinda wiggly larva land in the water. Fish love it. What could it be??

Should be hard to capture a pic. They are small white wiggly worms. I hate worms and have not cleaned the top surfaces under the lid in about a month or so. Fish love to eat them. They are thin and about 7 mm in length or less. Usually about 5 fall in the tank when I open the lid once a day. Yuck I know. No flys in my house or and bugs at all. Never had this happen all the many yrs of fish keeping.

These worms you are seeing are called glass worms. Glass worms thrive in dirty places so just make sure your tank is clean and they will eventually die off.

Defiantly not micro worms. What are glass worms? How are the started

They are just insect larvae and are harmelss. Just clean out the lid. ;)

I bought frozen glass worms at my local fish store to feed my fish and they love them. You're lucky to have a live supply!
