Have been shopping around looking for new lights. I am looking into upgrading to t5ho fixtures. I have several questions...
1) I have a top fin 55 gallon tank, with the plastic support across the top. With that being across the center is it ok to have a fixture cross over it? I don't want this to melt.
2) When getting these lights should I get one to mount across the length of the tank? 48in. Or should I get 2 24in hoods?
3) Preference, I have been looking at Coralife t5ho. But there is also a ZooMed t5ho this one is really inexpensive from petco. What other brands do you like?
