In the tank at work we are seeing thousands of little hair fine worms that are about 3/8 of an inch long floating in the tank. I found a post here a while back about this but can not find it tonight. Can anybody tell me what these are, do we need to get rid of them, and if so how?

I tried to get a photo but they are just too small.

I didn't have that many. I googled little white aquarium worms and I got planaria I think. I think I got them because my son left some food on the lip of the top of the tank.

It said to vacuum the tank, because they get in the gravel. I saw my fish eat one once. I might have a few left because the clowns really dig in there sometimes. I cut back on the food and I don't see any.

Yep this is it!

It makes sense too. It is a constant battle to get employees to stop feeding the fish. I think I will suggest that the guy that takes care of the tank removes the food so that only he can feed them.

Thanks for the help!!!
