Bad idea. the shrimp will eventually kill and eat the shrimp. i prematurely added a longnose into my tank about a year ago and from the very first second in my tank it tried to kill my shrimp. I was ignorant to the fact that they were 100% incompatible. One day he finally got my shrimp no matter how many hiding spots i added to my tank it killed both the fish and the shrimp b.c he tried to swallow it whole.
I have a longnose hawkfish in my 90 gallon reef. I have 3 peppermint shrimp and a scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp. All are very small, and my hawk doesn't go near them. He even lets the cleaner shrimp clean him.
