I have a BTA and a hammer coral and a couple of weeks ago I found one of the tips of the hammer on the substrate. I've also noticed that it always stretches one tip out almost like it's fishing. Yesterday morning I found a small tip of the BTA on the substrate. When I had the goniopora I would occasionally find a tip/head on the bottom as well. Is this just natural loss of a tip? They are not near each other so I don't think a war is going on but just wondering if this is just part of occasional life for a coral?

Thanks...Steve
