I noticed tonight that my blood parrot/firemouth hybrid was kinda just hoovering in the corner. I went over and realized that he wasnt quite acting normal. I had originally planned to do a water change tommorrow, but I immediately started a 60% water change. I rinsed (not cleaned) my filter media out as well. He is now pretty much nose down (still breathing) in the sand. Guys this was my favorite fish and I was looking forward to seeing him in his new home in a couple weeks...i fear he will not make it through the night :uhoh: Im pretty devistated as this was a pretty hard fish for me to find out here.

let him be known as slider

Chad, I'm sorry about Slider :( It's hard to lose any fish, but the ones that have been with us the longest are especially sad to see go. Undoubtedly he was a very loved fish! He was lucky to have you as his aquarist.
