Lunar's hindering growth?

1) Is it possible lunar LED's will hinder the growth of corals? I use to run my lunars all the time when my actinics and halides were off. Last night I turned my lunars off when I went to bed and this morning it seems a few of my corals are in growth mode. Is that possible or coincidence?

One other question; Some of my rocks seem to have white worms. They aren't moving, but it looks like hundreds of white worms. Is that just the shape of the rock? Is it actually worms? Is it normal/possible worms are growing?
