Made some changes to the tank today.

Before I started.

Went to Petco today for some black background and solution. Wound up getting a couple of plants.

Had a couple rocks like this. I used them as a little retaining wall to keep the substrate piled up against the back corner of the tank. Worked well.

Looks so much better than before.

New light and air pump timers.

DIY CO2

The diffuser is right under one of my 2 HOBs on this tank so the water pouring in forces the CO2 that doesn't dissolve on the way up back down into the tank.

And of course the neon tetras are new. 9 of them.

It's fine. I set it up on day 1 of this tank so I don't have any experience without it. I'm going to set up a second 2 liter bottle next week when my T5HO show up. I'll use that for a month or so and then switch to a 5 gallon pressurized bottle.
