Hey everyone. I have a colony of zoas on a piece of live rock that I purchased a while back and I noticed that there are these weird looking things that are popping up. I see about 3 so far. Is this majano? And what should I do to get rid of it, if it is?

Thanks for the response. Looks like I'll be getting some Aiptasia X this weekend

you can also use lemon juice or white vinegar
or remove the piece that has the Aptasia on it and use gel crazy glue on it

I read about the vinegar & lemon juice. Would it be safe to treat them with the vinegar and/or lemon juice while the rocks are in the tank? Some of them are on a zoa colony as well

I read online you can even inject freshwater into aptasia to kill it

I think you may have said that incorrectly but I understood what you meant.
I do believe you wanted to say inject boiling hot water into them .
but the other methods do work also.

Oh my bad, it was something I read online a while back

I decided to grab some Aiptasia X. Worked like a charm.
