Making a slate cave

Today I arranged some of my slate pieces into a cave for my 55 gallon tank. I haven't glued the pieces together yet so nothing is final yet. What are your opinions

Looks good, very big though. I always end up making my caves bigger than what's required, usually have to pull it out and reduce in size. What fish is it for?
 
I think it's cool lookin. Has its own uniqueness. I'd put it in my african tank if i had it! Good job, the timely parts gluing it tho:)
 
I'm going to make a slate cave BGK tube combo soon. My only problem is finding the actual slate. Where did you get yours?
 
Looks great! I'm a bit wary with slate because it can be a bit sharp and sometimes some injury can occur. A bit of sand paper can help to smooth them out :)
