Marimo?

Hi everyone! I have a 28 gal that is currently stocked with 1 blue gourami, 8 neons, and 3 nerite snails. I'll be adding 2 dwarf cichlids in a couple weeks. I also have 1 moneywort plant and 1 green cambomba. I saw the marimo moss balls at PetSmart and thought they looked pretty neat. Would any of the fish in my tank try to eat it or would it be a nice addition to my tank?

the chiclids may but dont hold me to it other than that they really pefer med-high light

I've been having trouble keeping my nitrates under 20ppm, would adding the marimo help?

i dont think so but fast growers like anacharis should

marimo moss balls don't grow fast enough to really make an impact on nitrates.

By Bolivian Ram occasionally bites big chunks out of my Marimo Ball. That said, I've got an odd one. The only thing he really eats is frozen bloodworms and algae wafers. He goes crazy for the wafers...I guess he loves his veggies.
