Marineland bacteria pouch...

Has anyone here tried this guy out? The reviews I could find online were all good... I just dumped a big pouch in my new 50 gallon and will be adding 10 fish as per instructions of pouch and other reviews. I'm thinking 5 platies and 5 guppies

always doubt these things.

Well, if it works add some pure ammonia to the tank up to 4ppm or so. If the bacteria does what it's supposed to do then you will see nitrite and nitrate shortly after.
That way you won't risk any fish

I'll keep everyone posted on how it goes... I'll be doing water test every day
