Had a outbreak of mouth fungus on a couple of my guys,treated w/maracyn... Can maracyn affect the biofilter?Anyone?

i am unsure about the chemical u refer to.
however, most will get absorbed into carbon filter pads, so change these to a different type of pad before medicating.
also to be safe, you could split the pads and put half new pads in, while keeping the other half of the old pads in separate tank water to maintain bacteria until after medication, so u have plenty of bacteria when its over.
