mh won't fire

I am wondering why my mh won't fire. I have had this setup for a while now and the last few days it has taken anywhere from a few minutes to an hour to fire. The bulb is only a couple months old any suggestions?

the ballst??? mine went bad twice in less than 5 months, try and see.

what is the wattage and type of bulb? probe, pulse or HQI? Magnetic or elcetronic ballast? If magnetic, then what is the M## of the ballast?
