I bought a new Reef Octopus 150 skimmer to replace my MRC MR2. I fired it up today and it is making a ton of microbubbles. The bottom of the outlet is in the water. I DO have some medication in the water so the skimmer is foaming excessively inside. Is this the reason for the microbubbles or is this part of the break-in? I have a 75 gallon and I am planning on doing four 15 gallon water changes over the next 4 days to get the meds out. Should I wait until then to fire the skimmer up?
