Molly fry

I have two Molly fry that were born into freshwater, since they were born into it, can I leave them in it or do they still need to have brackish water?

I have/do kept Mollies in Freshwater and they have bred and the fry have survived in the freshwater. Some people say they prefer brackish water but i have always kept them in Freshwater with no problems. IMO leave them as they are...
