Moonlighting

I've been thinking about adding some moonlights to my 55 gallon (2 x 24inch hoods) and wanted to know if there where cheap ways to get a clean blue glow in my tank and if there was a certain kind to get or maybe even a DIY idea.

If there is an AutoZone (or similar) near you, they have inexpensive waterproof LED strips (for blinging out your car) in many colors and lengths. All you need is a 12volt DC power supply, which most of us have stuffed in a drawer somewhere from old cordless phones or such. They have a sticky backing so you can stick them anywhere.
