Moving a plant from water to air

If I go to my LFS and buy an Anubis or something along those lines it would have been submerged it’s hole life. What’s the best way to transition that plant to grow out of water if I want if above the water line?

It would take some time. But, if you let new growth merge above water you should be able to transfer the new growth. I found a video that might help understand a little more. You can probably use a bottle,jar, or contain and put it in the window too. But the video is the idea. Hope it helps.https://youtu.be/X3ip9rni7GA
