Hi, Im moving the tank on Saturday and because of its size, it needs to be completely drained and all sand / water etc removed so it can be turned on its side to get through the door! :)

Tank : Juwel 350 corner aquarium

The plan is as follows:

1) Drain 200L of water into containers
2) remove and pack plants and rocks / wood into containers with water
3) Catch and pack fish into bags with air pumped in - then sealed
4) Remove sand and fertiliser levels
5) Remove filter media and pack in the same way as fish
6) Pump remaining water out
7) Move tank
8) Reverse the above to install in new house

Any suggestions or any notes from experience are welcome.

Also, what are peoples thoughts on step (4) - Can I save them and reuse them after Ive moved, in which case any ideas on moving wet sand safely!?

THANKS!
