Murderer or crazy illness?

All my red wag platies seemed fine last night. They all ate and went about their business of ignoring the mollies and bottom feeders.

I went to feed them this morning and one if my red wags was laying under the plants with his intestines pulled out of a small hole in his side. His intestines were still intact. Whoa...

I tried searching the web for any crazy illness that may have caused this since the hole in his side seemed too small to be made by my other platies or mollies.

Any ideas??

Been searching around...can't seem to find any kind of parasite that would burrow out of my platy.

It's just so strange...the intestines weren't even damaged, just pulled out like a piece of spaghetti.
