Looks like a Derasa clam to me. Anyways, lots of blue in that tank! I was going to go with a 28 JBJ HQI but I'd rather not get a 150 dollar chiller...

It's a dersa clam I dont run a chiller and my temps stable ..never over 80.6 i didnt get the hqi I bought the cf but later upgraded

yea derasa clams are in the tridacna clam family

Well all of the clams that look like that are Tridacnas. Maximas require more light than derasas, which is why I'm getting a derasa like him as well
