my 90 gal oscar/severum/dempsey tank

90 gal tall housing:
Tiger oscar
Albino oscar
Pink oscar
Red spotted golden severum
Red devil dempsey
Bristlenose pleco
And a common pleco

Next week adding my last Fish.... an electric blue dempsey.

When oscars grow... they are going in a larger tank.

That's a good looking cichlid tank. The driftwood looks awesome. Have you ever thought about peacock cichlids. There colors are pretty dynamic and definately pop in that tank
 
Yeah I thought about it. But aren't peacocks Africans? Wont be able to compete with my oscars right? Can't remember. I am getting another large tank soon for some affricans. Love they're colors.

Peacocks are African and have different requirements (Food & Water, ph and water hardness) then Oscars...also Oscars get way bigger than Peacocks. Oscars can get to 8-10 inches while a Peacock gets to 5 inches. (These are general not exact of course).

So Probably not a good mix in the long term.
 
EBJD's tend to be rather timid fish, I think the stocking plan has some potential issues. That combined with a potential mating pair of oscars, they'll wreak havoc on tankmates no matter what size tank they are in, so keep a close eye on that.
