My discus lay the eggs and I'm not sure what to do if I should put them and another tank this is the first time. they have been guarding them and being real protective I have a 10 gallon set up wouldImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1388189568.014941.jpg that be enough?

Man I cant wait for mine to start laying eggs. You should just leave them alone even though 10 gallons might be a bit on the small side, once the eggs hatch the newborn will feed off the parents slime.

Make sure the water is optimum and temp in the mid to high 80's. What filter do you have in that tank? You dont want the recently hatched babies getting sucked in the filter.

That's right I have a whisper 100 maybe I should make something so they won't get sucked up .yes I keep it at 85°

You can place a piece of filter media like sponge on the intake side.
