Can anyone help me out as to the age of it? We've had it maybe 4 months but I dot remember how big it was when we got it.

How big is it now? Synodontis Eruptus should be kept in schools of 4 or more I would consider picking up a few more if your tank is large enough.

Probably 4". I read they are territorial though. I have a 55 gal

I'd say it's less than a year old they are territorial but are better in groups.
