Mysterious golden nugget death

My golden nugget has somehow died. There was no ammonia very little nitrite and the ph was a little high like 8 but that wasnt too high was it? Im bringing it back to lfs even though my 2 week waranty was up but its an 80$ fish as the worker dropped it when he was grabbing it so i expect a new one after i figure out what happened. (Sorry for the rant)

Sometimes it happens. My GN died not too long ago. No signs of bullying and parameters were all good.

Yeah it sucks i just feel bad that its life ended a lot earlier than it should have :/
