Nano fish tank .

Have a 4 gallon that I'm thinking of making into a nano tank any ideas fish? Plants?

The length is 12"bredth 8.5" hight 9"

Hmmmm... well, I am not sure that is very good for a lot of the common nano fish, but I think there could still be a couple of options. I think you would be ok a few Endler's livebearers or a few chili rasbora.
You will really have space for a couple of tiny fish, but you could definitely do some awesome shrimp in there. There are some really cool types of dwarf shrimp like rcs.
As for plants, that depends on the lights you will have. But, a cheap 15w flourescent light would be easily sufficient to grow some guppy grass or something easy like that.

Lol, I wouldn't have given you suggestions that I thought were bad ideas. It is pretty small so you are limited, but you can still do it.
