Hello, I’m new to fishkeeping and I need some advice. I have a 10g tank that will be housing one Betta fish. I started a fish less cycle around 4 weeks ago. There is currently only gravel substrate and a water heater in the tank.

I tested the water parameters a couple hours ago using API Freshwater Kit

pH = 7.6
Ammonia = 0.50 ppm (light yellowish green)
Nitrites = 5 ppm (deep purple)
Nitrates = 80 ppm (light blood red)

Both my nitrites and nitrates run constantly high while my ammonia slowly dips. Should I do a partial water change or leave it be? Also how often should I be dosing Ammonia?

I'd leave it alone based on those readings. You are in the middle of the cycle. If your ammonia hits 0 then dose up to 2 ppm.
