How much should a dwarf gourami cost
what are tank mates ( mollies guppies neons zebra danio???)
how big does it get
how big tank needed

Six dollars is a pretty average price for a male dwarf Grourami. They're fairly peaceful fish to get along with most smaller tetras some of the smaller less aggressive barbs call Danio's other Gourami, rainbow Fish. John Fishman

i have 7 dwarf gouramis along with 2 gbr's, a molly, tetras and platys. they all get along great so those should work out for you also. the gouramis are very peaceful. i've had mine for 2 years so they are healthy fish as well. the color on yours is beautiful! good luck. :)

I'd like to suggest you google information about dwarf gouramis. There is also a profile on them here on AA. You will find most of your answers will be answered there. If you then have anymore questions or just want to confirm something, ask away!
As for the price, it depends where you are, on your LFS and their supplier.

Here most stores don't sell females at all.
They are bubble nesters. So probably NOT a good idea to breed in a Community tank.
How big is your tank ??

You are overstocked.
15.8g Tank
5 Guppies,
4 Mollies
7 Neons
and now a DG ??

4 Mollies in a 15g tank ???
They need at least a 30g they are very active and may start to bully your other fish. Plus you have no room for babies.

Do not add another DG. Rehome the Mollies IMHO.

They aren't fully grown yet
I'm rehoming the guppies
Just wondering for long term

And surprise surprise my store does sell females

Ah good. That's nice to know. One store in my area has females rarely. Most don't.

If you want to breed they usually need a tank to themselves.
