My ammonia lvls have been between 0mg and .25 mg, i've been doing pwc fequently. I have fish in the tank will that hurt them, and how can I get the ammonia to go down? Should I do a 50% water change every day?

Yep, it looked good then after a few weeks of having some fish in it the ammonia went up

this happened to me when i added some fish to a newly cycled tank. i did water changes of 50% everyday for about 7 days until it was back in line. use seachem prime water conditioner for the water changes. this will make the ammonia safe for the fish for 48 hours or until your next water change. don't get discouraged it will come back down as long as you're not over stocked or over feeding. what size is the tank and what fish do you have? are all your other tests coming back good?
