Need help with filter

So I have a ten gallon tank with a oscar in it. (upgrading in one month). But I need a really good filter that will still fit in a 8x2 hole space. I need to know so my oscar can have really clean water and no diseases.

Is that in feet? Or inches? An 8 inch filter will not keep an oscar, or at least none that I'm aware of.

Oscar get big and should have a similar sized filter. Aim for equipment that suits adult size of your fish.

Just do lots of water changing until you get that upgrade!

I've been doing water changes every two days I have exactly one month today until I can upgrade.
