New 125 gallon

Well I basically have my 125 all set up. I got the tank for $50 on CL, it needed a lot of work previous owner let it get nasty but I don't mind some work. I resealed it just to be safe, buffed some scratches out. Built the stand for about $100. Pool filter sand as substrate.Added some LEDs (petsmart only had one) Seeded it and did a fish in cycle. Yesterday I added half my cichlids, and about 180 pounds of lava rock.



My rock pile comes out of the water and was thinking crabs would be cool, are there any that can survive with Africans. I have mostly peacocks and haps with the occasional mbuna, I really want to add compressiceps.

All I need to add is more plants, my light, and my power head.

Thanks man, you can kinda scale it to the Xbox controller in the front. So far they seem to love it.

Yea I don't mind algae but my pleco keeps things lockdown so it might be a while
