Aquarium Advice Freak
I have loads of fluffy green algae in one of my tanks, but don't really want anymore fish. I heard that amano shrimp and trumpet snails like algae, so I headed over to the lfs (we bought some new puppy stuff too, for the new puppy...yay!) anywho...they gave me ten trumpet snails free. They had never heard of amano shrimp...is that the right spelling?
I ended up getting some ghost shrimp just for fun. I got three. They are super cute and seem to be holding their own. None of them have eggs right now, but if I do notice eggs I want to try and save the babies. Does anyone have experience with baby shrimps?
I think my dwarf gourami has snacked on a few of the trumpet snails!!! Glad they were free
