I still think you need to get a test kit of your own. PH, nitrate, nitrite, ammonia to get started. And read up on fishless cycling.

I have one but the guy told me that while my tank cycles he will check it for free so i dont use all of my things because they are expensive

That's good but have him give you #'s to be more exact and then post those #'s so we know where you stand.."Fine" is a vague #.............
