New tank & Refugiums!

30 gallon tank has been up for 2 weeks . No fish In Tank. everything is good so far. a friend has given me a Refugium. Is it ok to go ahead and set it up now or should I wait ???. thanks for any help

you could set it up, and add any macro algae at this stage. just don't add any living creatures until the tank is fully cycled.
