Hi there,
I just added a UGF to an established tank of mine. It was a pain to get it in there without disturbing everything too much, but I managed to only make the water cloud a little from stirring the gravel a little. My only question is that if it is OK that there is a small amount of gravel under the filter grate. The grating isn't resting on the gravel or anything, there's just a trace amount scattered around underneath, probably less than 100 or so individual pieces. This is in a 26G bowfront, so I figure it wont be a problem considering the amount of space under the grate. Anyone see anything wrong with leaving this under there? Or should I try to get it all out? My main filter is still running, and I plan to leave it that way, I just wanted to add something to keep the water stirring a little through the gravel. Thanks in advance for your advice!!
