Hi Guys,
I am very new to plants and aquariums. I want to have a planted tank with fish. I am very intimidated with CO2. I have been reading everything I can on the subject but very confused.

I have a 55 gallon tank (not set up yet)
I would like to have the bottom covered with grass (dwarf grass)
and a moss covering the drift wood.
I also plan to use colored sand as a substrate.
Do I need CO2 for this planned set up?
My tank does get some natural sunlight but not direct (window is on other side of room)
Can someone recommend plants that can flourish in this idea without CO2?

If I do need CO2 what is the monthly maintenance cost?
Which is the easiest system?

Thanks for your help guys. Your advice is really a godsend.

Wade
