Hello my namee is Kathy and I've been into the fish hobby since last November. I have a 36 bow front, and starting a 55 cichlid tank. I live in south Florida and I'm a professor at a local college. I can't wait to read all the great idea here.

Hello and welcome! I basically have the same setup as yours (a 55 gallon cichlid tank) and it is lots of fun! Do you know what type of cichlids your getting?
