is this a bad or a good thing? also, my ammonia id rising a little too, I thought they were suppose to decline....my nitrates have been staying the same for the past 5-6 tests...along with my ph which is at 8.2...do all of these tests seem correct? or am i doing somthing wrong?

TIA

The levels will peak based on the nutrient provided or added. Once the appropriate bacteria has formed, the levels will begin to decrease. Ammonia subsiding as nitrite rises as a rule. They do not reduce simultatiously as each is consumed by a different species of bacteria.

Have you added anything other than the shrimp and Hirocks?

Cheers
Steve

no, the people from lr.com are on vacation to get more rock, once they are back they will contact me and i will get the lr, once tahts is in, should i consider getting a clean up crew or should i wait?

TIA, Ant

Don't get anything (including a clean up crew) until your Ammonia and nitrites have fallen to zero. They will....just wait.
