I picked up a bottle of Nutrafin Plant Gro because the front of the bottle says it will do wonders for my plants and is "Safe for Fish and Other Aquarium Inhabitants." When I got it home and took a magnifying glass to the ingredients list I see that it contains 0.005% Chelated Copper. I thought copper and shrimp don't play well together. Is this stuff safe to use in a tank with shrimp.

It will be fine at that level. Most liquid fert mixes contain trace amounts of copper. I have used API leafzone before in tanks with tons of shrimp... and it contains similar levels of copper.

I think it was mgamer who said the other day that trace amounts of copper are actually needed by inverts. It only becomes poisonous at higher levels.
