Old ornament

Hi just starting off a new tank and ive got some old wood effect ornament theres abit of old algea on them just wondering if they will be ok to use?

Should be fine to me. I’ve pulled down tanks, stored in shed and restarted no problems (except getting the wood to sink again mumble mumble).
