Well I bit the bullet and picked one up.

I have to say its a pretty nice addition for those looking for a crayfish in a planted community tank.

Right now its no bigger than my amano shrimp, avoids EVERYTHING for the most part yet still casually roams around.

Nothing messes with him and hes far to small to ruin any plants.

As you can see by the pic hes barely bigger than my bumblebee goby and the guys at the LFS said hes never seen one really much bigger than what it is now. Online it says max size is 2".

Im kind of thinking of getting another.

To be perfectly honest I wish I didnt waste so much time and cash on cherry shrimp and went right to these.

Honestly one of my favorite animals in the hobby. So much more personality than shrimp.
