So im thinking of buying one or the other for my new tank. I have otos in my old tank, but im in the mood for something new, plus im still worried about my otos... Are these shrimp just as, if not better, than otos? or almost as good? can anyone give me a list of pros and cons for both of them?

I suppose it depends what you mean by better. If you're just looking for a change of pace in the life in your tank then maybe so. If you are talking about algea cleanup I personally don't think you can do better than ottos ( excluding yourself of course). I think, but don't know for sure as I've never owned them, that amanos do a good job of cleaning up leftover food though.
