i currently have a bristlenose pleco, 4 leopard danios and a dwarf gourami, i was thinking of adding 2or 3 danios and then getting 5 panda or spotted cory's and 4or 5 cherry barbs, too stocked?

You should be fine. Add to the danios and go with the cories. Sounds like a nice tank.

Either the cories or the barbs would be fine, but probably not both.

It's hard to say add the two mentioned and monitor your Perameters if there is still swimming space and your numbers stay good you should be fine
